THE ROLE

This role seeks an exceptional Senior Event Production Manager to lead the planning and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Depending on the event, you may take full ownership or lead specific components as part of the larger production management team, including but not limited to corporate events and music programming. You will also have line management responsibilities, supporting team development and performance, as well as recruiting and inducting freelancers as needed.

The Senior Event Production Manager's duties include:

  • Working closely with the commercial events team to manage and facilitate the physical elements of events.
  • Liaising, negotiating, and managing with key suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Supporting the Commercial Events team with client visits and pitches.
  • Developing and maintaining good client relationships, leading project calls and meetings regarding technical services.
  • Line managing permanent and temporary Commercial and Music Production Managers.
  • Monitoring and forecasting event budgets effectively.
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Team and Head of Technical to recruit technical personnel for installation and de-installation.
  • Arranging transport and securing storage for physical production elements.
  • Establishing production schedules and communicating them effectively to relevant parties within agreed timeframes.
  • Attending meetings, site visits, and overseeing installation, de-installation, and show maintenance when appropriate.
  • Building strong working relationships with key departments within Factory International.
  • Ensuring all production elements meet high Health and Safety standards and comply with current legislation.
  • Writing risk assessments and method statements, and collating assessments from suppliers and contractors as needed.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience managing event production across commercial or corporate events, with up-to-date technical knowledge and confidence in client communication. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation skills, and strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and its practical application are essential.
