Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead the events function in the London office of a prestigious international law firm, with direct line management of two high-performing team members.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have considerable experience planning and executing high-profile client events at another leading law firm or other corporate/professional services organisation and have very strong communication, organisational and project management skills. The role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who takes pride in being an exceptional and motivating line manager.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading the planning and execution of high-profile and signature events, collaborating closely with firm leadership and Business Development teams.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for each assigned event, ensuring seamless coordination from concept to completion.
• Overseeing all pre-event planning, including guest list development, invitation and reminder management, vendor coordination, internal logistics, and preparatory meetings.
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements that increase efficiency and elevate event quality.
• Managing logistics for external conference sponsorships and events, including venue selection, budget planning and tracking, contract negotiation, catering, A/V setup, registration, branded materials, and transportation.
• Identifying and implementing cost-effective strategies that maintain a premium attendee experience, such as optimising vendor contracts, reducing print materials, and streamlining A/V usage.
• Ensuring on-site presence and oversight at all managed events to guarantee flawless execution.
