Job summary

UNIQLO in London is seeking a Senior European Payroll Specialist to join our European HR Payroll team. You will lead end-to-end payroll processes across EU markets, support mobility and immigration for expats, and partner with HR and Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role reports to the European Payroll Manager and requires strong experience in high-volume payroll across multiple European countries, with excellent stakeholder management and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end payroll in multiple European countries.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxation and expat rules.
• Experience working with expats and mobility/immigration teams.
• Fluent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll for EU markets.
• Coordinate with EU Payroll Partners and HR Managers.
• Execute controls on payroll files throughout the cycle.
• Manage payroll for expats, coordinating with tax advisors and mobility partners.
• Validate and approve payroll data as part of the payroll chain.
• Manage salary payments, taxes, and social security for EU markets.
• Prepare month-end and quarterly payroll reports for Finance.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll issues.
• Lead payroll governance, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Provide input into EU policies, systems, and tools.
• Manage immigration for expats in EU markets.
