Job summary

Centrica Energy, based in London, is seeking a Senior ETRM Analyst Developer to lead development and support for its OpenLink Endur platform. You will work with Front, Middle and Back Office teams, delivering robust trading and risk management solutions and driving technical improvements.

The role requires strong Java, Oracle PL/SQL and OpenLink expertise, with on-site work at Park House, Mayfair, and occasional travel to other Centrica Energy locations.

Qualifications

• Experience within commodities, energy trading or financial services environments.
• Understanding of energy trading, risk management, STP and operational processes.
• Strong experience with OpenLink Endur platform.
• Hands-on with OpenLink development technologies, including JVS and/or OpenComponents (Java).
• Strong Java development skills and enterprise integrations.
• Oracle PL/SQL expertise.
• Experience supporting, troubleshooting and maintaining production trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain functionality within the OpenLink Endur platform.
• Design, build and support integrated applications used across Front, Middle and Back Office teams, primarily using Java/OpenComponents.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and enhance existing Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures and database solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and release management.
• Design and implement automated testing and deployment solutions to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs, user guides and support documentation.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring systems remain stable and performant.
• Deliver work to agreed standards, timelines and quality expectations.
