Job summary

Centrica plc is seeking a Senior ETRM Analyst Developer to design, develop, and support OpenLink Endur-based solutions across Front, Middle and Back Office in our London area offices. The role collaborates with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office and Technology teams to deliver robust trading and risk management processes.

You will work on OpenLink Endur enhancements, Java integrations, and Oracle PL/SQL, ensuring production trading systems are stable, scalable, and fit for the future while

Qualifications

• Experience with commodities, energy trading or financial services environments.
• Understanding of energy trading, risk management, STP and operational processes.
• Strong experience developing and supporting solutions within the OpenLink Endur platform.
• Hands-on experience with OpenLink development technologies, including JVS and OpenComponents (Java).
• Strong Java development skills and experience with enterprise application integrations.
• Solid database development using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience supporting, troubleshooting and maintaining production trading systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; can resolve complex issues.
• Experience across multiple SDLC phases: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain functionality within the OpenLink Endur platform.
• Design, build and support integrated applications used across Front, Middle and Back Office using Java/OpenComponents.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages and databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in the SDLC from analysis to release management.
• Design and implement automated testing and deployment to improve quality and efficiency.
• Produce technical documentation, designs, and user guides.
• Investigate and resolve production issues ensuring system stability and performance.
• Deliver work to agreed standards, timelines and quality.
