Job summary

A leading commodity trading firm seeks a Senior ETD Operations Analyst to join their Cambridge team. Responsibilities include reconciliation of derivatives, monitoring exceptions, maintaining data for derivatives, and generating management reports. Job Description:

Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for an ETD Operations Analyst to join their team in London.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of exchange-traded derivatives, resolving discrepancies according to established procedures.
• Monitoring open exceptions across systems and clearing them within defined timelines.
• Maintaining and validating standing data for all derivative products and ensuring correct application of clearing and execution fees.
• Generating management reports and operational statistics for performance tracking.
• Identifying and supporting process improvements, workflow enhancements, controls, and contingency plans.

You will need to have the following experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations, trade support, or reconciliation roles.
• Experience with ETD products such as futures, options, swaps, and CFDs.
• Understanding of clearing, settlement, and margin processes.
• Experience interacting with Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and Brokers.
• Experience in a trading environment within energy or commodities sectors, with exposure to traders and commercial teams.
