Job Description:

Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for an ETD Operations Analyst to join their team in Basingstoke.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of exchange-traded derivatives, resolving discrepancies according to established procedures.
• Monitoring open exceptions across systems and clearing them efficiently within the defined timelines.
• Maintaining and validating standing data for all derivative products and confirming accurate application of clearing and execution fees.
• Generating regular management reports and operational statistics to support internal performance tracking.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, recommending, and supporting workflow, controls, and contingency plan enhancements.

You will need to have the following experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations, trade support, or reconciliation roles.
• Experience with ETD products such as futures, options, swaps, and CFDs.
• Understanding of clearing, settlement, and margin processes.
• Proven experience interacting with Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and Brokers.
• Experience in a trading environment, ideally in energy or commodities sectors, with direct exposure to traders and commercial teams.
