Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Staff Etch Process Development Engineer to develop, optimise, and support dry and wet etch processes for III-V semiconductor devices. You will drive process improvements, NPI transitions, yield enhancements, and manufacturing efficiency within a semiconductor fabrication environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, Six Sigma and Lean, with data analysis and problem solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Semiconductor Technology, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, Six Sigma, Lean methodologies and manufacturing problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and improve semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Optimise dry and wet etch processes for performance, repeatability and yield.
• Analyse process and equipment data using SPC, DOE, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
• Support NPI, technology transfer, and process scale-up into production.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to improve uptime and reduce defects.
• Lead yield improvement, scrap reduction, cycle time, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Equipment, Manufacturing, and R&D teams.
• Experience in semiconductor or photonics desirable.
