Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its pre-construction team. You will lead tender preparation for a range of public sector and commercial projects, analyzing drawings and pricing to deliver competitive bids.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design, commercial and operations teams, integrating value engineering and risk management to secure opportunities. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Estimator or estimator in a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating and tendering procedures.
• Experience pricing public sector, education, healthcare, residential or commercial projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for new build and refurbishment projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify project requirements and risks.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accurate pricing.
• Develop cost plans, budgets and value engineering solutions.
• Liaise with operational, commercial and design teams throughout the bid process.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and tender interviews.
• Manage multiple tender opportunities simultaneously while meeting submission deadlines.
