Job summary

Keltbray is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead tendering for major civil infrastructure projects across the UK. You will own tender reviews, pricing strategies and build-ups, working with CCS software and multi-disciplinary teams to shape robust bids.

You will collaborate with the Chief Estimator and senior leadership, take accountability for programmes, cash flow forecasts and bid submissions while ensuring compliant, timely submissions on key schemes.

Qualifications

• Significant estimating experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or major projects.
• Experience pricing complex earthworks, highways, rail, utilities or major infrastructure schemes.
• Strong understanding of first-principles estimating.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation and client requirements to inform bids.
• Produce tender reviews and pricing strategies for submissions.
• Price Bills of Quantities using CCS estimating software.
• Develop rates and build-ups using first‑principles estimating techniques.
• Prepare programmes, resource schedules, histograms and cash flow forecasts.
• Coordinate inputs from operational, commercial and technical teams.
• Support bid submissions and presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure all tender submissions are accurate, compliant and on time.
