Job summary

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Stevenage base, covering education, healthcare, community, industrial, leisure, retail and commercial projects up to £20m. You will join a busy preconstruction team, preparing cost plans, tenders and estimates across multiple schemes.

This role requires experience with main contractors on new build or refurbishment projects, strong teamwork, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Estimator in construction
• Experience with main contractor on new build or refurbishment
• Self-directed, organised and highly motivated
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong team player with good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Preparing cost plans, tenders and estimates
• Leading the estimating process across multiple projects
• Working closely with design, commercial and operational teams
• Liaising with supply chain partners to secure competitive pricing
• Supporting junior team members where required
