Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator for our Social Infrastructure, Nuclear and Defence pre-construction team. You will lead cost estimation efforts across civil engineering and infrastructure projects, shaping winning tender strategies.

Based in the UK with flexible working patterns, you will collaborate with bid teams, design partners and clients to develop buildable, value-driven solutions while managing multiple design iterations and budget controls.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing complex estimates and tender submissions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate with bid teams, design partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with bid teams, estimating colleagues, pre-construction and ECI project teams.
• Manage and deliver cost estimates at design and scope stages with multiple iterations.
• Support ECI teams with budget development, value engineering and target cost preparation.
• Contribute to optioneering, feasibility studies and multidisciplinary solution development.
• Liaise with clients, designers, consultants, quantity surveyors and third-party stakeholders.
• Prepare and administer tender documentation, inquiries and quotations.
