Solum Assets Ltd is seeking a Senior Estimator with a solid civil engineering background for groundworks and related civil projects. The role is hybrid, split between the office near Luton and home working, with responsibilities including first principles pricing, take-offs, BOQ measurement, and bid management for projects ranging from £100k to £10m.

The successful candidate will work in a small, experienced team, report to shareholders, and manage tender workloads for a blue-chip client base,

Formación

• Solid experience within the Civil Engineering sector.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.

Responsabilidades

• First principles pricing of projects
• Take offs, measurement and rates build up
• BOQ measurement
• Spotting risk and reward opportunities
• Attending tender adjudication meetings with Directors
• Attending prestart meetings at project stage
• Client and subcontractor involvement
• Overseeing and managing tenders and bids workload
• Pricing tenders valued between £100k - £10m
• Dealing with a very established Blue Chip client base
• Reporting to the business shareholders
• Working for a well established contracting business
