The role requires 10+ years of estimating experience with senior-level background, strong flat roofing knowledge, and proven tendering for Tier 1 contractors. Office-based with HQ commutable access.
Qualifications
- 10+ years estimating experience, including senior level responsibilities.
- Strong background in tendering for Tier 1 contractors.
- Solid knowledge of flat roofing.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate tenders from enquiry to submission.
- Review drawings, specs, scopes and contracts.
- Carrying out quantity take-offs and measurements.
- Price labour, materials, plant and subcontract packages.
- Tender for Tier 1 contractors and clients.
- Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers/subcontractors.
- Identify commercial risks, opportunities and issues.
- Prepare tender submissions and supporting docs.
- Collaborate with commercial and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate estimating records and tender information.
- Ensure tenders are submitted on time.
