Job summary

Middlesex Ltd is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead tendering for drylining, partition and ceiling packages. You will analyse quotations, assess risks and opportunities, and deliver adjudication and handover documentation to delivery teams.

The role requires strong drywall and fit-out knowledge, the ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to work with design and operations across high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator.
• Strong understanding of drywall systems and interior fit-out.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and technical information.
• Commercial awareness with negotiation and analytics.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors and major projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach.
• Experience with estimating software and MS Office.
• Collaborative mindset with design and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options in tenders.
• Produce tender adjudication documents and handover information.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and repeat work.
