  • Collaborate with internal self-perform divisions to create value-driven proposals.
  • Interpret and extract critical details from drawings, specs, and reports.
  • Build preliminary project schedules and develop manpower projections.
  • Price general conditions, write scopes of work, and lead bid review meetings.
  • Present cost proposals and risk mitigation strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee smooth handoff to project managers and engineers post-award.
  • Maintain estimating logs, perform ongoing training, and support continuous improvement.

Tools You’ll Use:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
  • Bluebeam
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Primavera P6

Must-Haves:

  • 10+ years of estimating experience in commercial and industrial construction
  • Proven ability to manage multi-discipline subcontractor bids and detailed quotes
  • Strong understanding of all CSI divisions and construction cost structures
  • Excellent technical reading and scope development skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent field experience

Bonus Points For:

  • 15+ years of senior-level estimating experience
  • Deep knowledge of water infrastructure, energy projects, and self-perform trades
