Senior Estimator - Civil Engineering

Senior Estimator - Civil Engineering

A new opportunity exists for a Senior Estimator to join a leading tier one Civil Engineering Contractor. Joining this well-respected and busy organisation, you will be involved in large, complex tenders with values of £50M+. The company offers an excellent salary & benefits package, including:

The Senior Estimator shall be responsible for Pre-Construction Estimating, working closely with internal and external clients, other disciplines, and teams from project inception. You will be accountable for all financial and estimating aspects of the projects. The successful candidate will procure contracts and budgets in accordance with the Business Strategy, ensure highly competitive and well-resourced tender costs, prepare quality submissions to clients, and evaluate negotiated contracts within frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A further education qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction discipline
• Strong estimating experience
• A proven track record of winning tenders that have delivered successful and profitable contracts
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
