AtkinsRéalis currently has an exciting position for a Senior Estimator to join the Major Projects team within our Nuclear & Power EMEA business.

The role will suit someone with a strong estimating background who is keen to work on proposals for some of the most exciting and transformative projects in the UK nuclear industry, reducing carbon emissions whilst achieving future energy security. These projects will span areas including new nuclear power station design, developing fusion technologies, and implementing new nuclear waste management processes.

What you will bring:

  • Recognised expertise and experience in cost estimating. Experience within the nuclear industry is ideal but not essential; insights from other industries are also welcome.
  • The ability to produce and clearly present information suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in estimating principles to guide decision-making, improve project financial performance, and reduce risk.
  • Experience with estimating software packages and creating custom spreadsheets for cost monitoring and reporting. Power BI experience is a plus but not required.
