Senior Estimator - Freelance

Senior Electrical/Civils Estimator - EV Projects

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to support EV Charging, Solar, and Battery Storage projects across the UK. This freelance role offers the opportunity to work on key Net Zero infrastructure projects as a Senior Estimator within a growing sector.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Estimator:

1. Assess bid opportunities, project risks, and client requirements
2. Develop and price Electrical/Civils BoQs
3. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for cost evaluation
4. Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and governance documents
5. Support post-tender meetings and project handovers

Requirements for the Senior Estimator:

1. Electrical/ICP/Civils estimating experience
2. Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of contracts
3. Familiarity with Grid & DNO Standards
4. Ability to build rates from first principles
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
