Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the estimation process from initial enquiry to final tender submission
  2. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects
  3. Analyse drawings, specifications, and documentation to determine project costs
  4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to assess requirements
  5. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
  6. Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with estimates
  7. Contribute to tender documentation and pricing negotiations
  8. Stay informed on market trends, material costs, and industry standards
  9. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  10. Factor in inflation, exchange rates, and projected timelines
  11. Stay current with construction technologies and innovations
  12. Visit proposed construction sites for assessments
  13. Present bids to clients and respond to queries
  14. Prepare and submit quotations for work
Candidate Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  3. Proficiency in estimating software and tools
