The company

A rapidly expanding Construction Main Contractor with a growing presence in the industry and several industry awards. The business has built a strong reputation within the industry and is now looking to bolster its Estimating team. They are committed to delivering a personalized service and adapting their approach to each client. Operating mainly in the commercial, retail, industrial, and residential sectors, they deliver projects valued between £2m and £50m on average.

The Role

Reporting to the Estimating Director, you will be responsible for preparing tenders, managing up to three tenders simultaneously. Recognizing and understanding logistics, buildability issues, and identifying value-engineering opportunities are crucial in this role.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Assessing tender enquiries and identifying potential supply chain options
2. Preparing and issuing subcontract and supplier enquiries
3. Evaluating and aligning subcontract quotations
4. Calculating net tender costs
5. Pricing contract preliminaries
6. Preparing Contractor's proposals and tender deliverables
7. Submitting tenders on time
