Job summary

Building Careers UK is partnering with a leading UK water and infrastructure organisation to recruit a Senior Estimator who will lead the national estimating function and drive commercially robust tendering across major frameworks and contracts.

The successful candidate will oversee a national estimating team, set standards, influence pricing strategy and collaborate with commercial, procurement and project teams to deliver winning bids and continuous improvement.

Our client is a leading organisation operating within the UK water and infrastructure sector.

They are now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead their national estimating function and play a key role in supporting continued business growth.

The Role

Reporting into the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee the delivery of accurate, competitive and commercially robust estimates across major frameworks, term service contracts and projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, developing and managing a national estimating team.

About You

The ideal candidate will have significant estimating experience within water, utilities, infrastructure, construction or civil engineering, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering complex tenders.

Experience of the regulated water sector, AMP programmes, Term Service Contracts, NEC contracts and framework delivery would be highly advantageous.

Strong commercial awareness, leadership capability and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside the ability to influence at senior level.
