Job Description
Fawkes & Reece South are working with a growing regional contractor who are seeking a Senior Estimator. They work on civil engineering and groundworks projects on behalf of main contractors and private clients throughout the South of England. As a principal contractor, they self-deliver projects worth £2m to £6m based on both JCT & NEC contracts.
Scope of works includes s278 works, roads, foundations, house drainage, deep drainage, brickworks, groundworks, hard landscaping, blocks, paving, and superstructures. The role is suitable for an Estimator looking for the opportunity to step into a senior role or an established Senior Estimator working alongside senior management. You will report directly to a director. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Requirements include certificates and qualifications. Experience using Causeway or other estimating packages would be advantageous. A good understanding of first principles is essential. Experience tendering on civil engineering or infrastructure projects is required. Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred. Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
