The company

A rapidly expanding Construction Main Contractor with a growing presence in the industry and several industry awards. The business has built a strong reputation within the industry and is now looking to bolster its Estimating team. They are committed to delivering a personalised service and adapting their approach to each client. Operating mainly in the commercial, retail, industrial, and residential sectors, they typically deliver projects valued between £2m and £50m.

The Role

Reporting to the Estimating Director, you will be responsible for preparing tenders, managing up to three tenders simultaneously. Recognising and understanding logistics, buildability issues, and identifying value-engineering opportunities are critical in this role.

Key duties include:
  • Assessing tender enquiries and supply chain opportunities
  • Preparing and issuing subcontract and supplier enquiries
  • Evaluating subcontractor quotations
  • Calculating net tender costs
  • Pricing contract preliminaries
  • Preparing Contractor's Proposals and Tender Deliverables
  • Ensuring timely submission of tenders
