Job summary

ARM LIMITED is seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to support the management and development of a diverse property portfolio. You will provide professional surveying advice, manage property transactions and identify opportunities to maximise the use and financial return of property assets.

You will carry out inspections, valuations, acquisitions and disposals, negotiate rent reviews and lease terms, and oversee external contractors while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must have a professionally recognised surveying qualification with strong estate management experience.
• Experience handling property valuations, acquisitions, disposals and lease negotiations.
• Ability to manage complex property transactions and advise on optimising asset performance.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be an experienced property professional with strong negotiation and analytical skills, able to manage complex transactions independently, resolve stakeholder queries and identify opportunities to maximise the value of a property portfolio.

• A relevant surveying degree accredited by RICS.
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Substantial experience in property surveying, valuations, inspections and transactions.
• Experience managing property portfolios within a corporate estates environment.
• Strong knowledge of RICS valuation standards and relevant property legislation.
• Knowledge of the local property market, property systems and GIS databases.
• Ability to interpret legal and technical property documentation and provide sound professional advice.
