Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Estates Senior Property and Leasing Manager to lead the Estates & Facilities team.

This senior role will drive the operational and tactical management of a diverse property portfolio, including LIFT, PFI and leasehold estates, ensuring the estate is optimised, financially efficient, and fit for the future to support high-quality care environments for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience leading estates & facilities functions.
• Ability to manage complex lease negotiations and rent reviews.
• Strong financial control of budgets and service charges.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex lease negotiations, renewals, and landlord discussions to secure best value.
• Oversee LIFT, PFI and leasehold portfolios and related budgets.
• Lead on Heads of Terms development and strategic property decisions.
• Drive estate optimisation and long-term planning across the portfolio.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders and stakeholders across the Trust.
• Deputise for the Head of Land & Property when required.
