Job Description: Property Management Specialist

This role involves providing comprehensive corporate property management services to our primarily blue-chip client base. The main goal is to add value to clients' property portfolios through practical and strategic management. Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing rent reviews, lease expiries, and break options
  2. Data management and reporting
  3. Conducting portfolio audits and property inspections
  4. Handling Property Management Finance (PMF), including rent, service charge, and insurance payments and collections
  5. Auditing and challenging service charge bills
  6. Liaising with landlords and managing leasehold matters, including consents and disputes
  7. Managing tenants to maximize income and minimize liabilities from surplus space
  8. Budgeting and forecasting
  9. Providing advice on portfolio improvement and investment opportunities
  10. Managing property disposals and acquisitions
  11. Formulating and reviewing strategies
  12. Proactively identifying added value opportunities, such as lease re-gears
  13. Offering general property advice, including legislation and notices
  14. Reporting and coordinating with client departments and other advisors, such as legal, finance, and maintenance teams
Candidate Profile
  • MRICS qualification with relevant commercial surveying experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including rapport building, active listening, questioning, and summarizing
  • Experience in client engagement and delivering excellent client care
  • Solid technical surveying skills; experience in the leisure/retail sector is desirable
  • Commercial awareness and insight
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills
  • High flexibility to switch between tasks without loss of productivity and adapt to unexpected changes
  • Results-driven attitude to maintain momentum and complete tasks efficiently
  • Ability to leverage knowledge to identify and develop client opportunities
