The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with tens of millions of visits every year.
We are now looking for a Senior Estates Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working36 hours per week.
This is a terrific opportunity for a general practice surveyor with estate management experience to progress and develop their career within our unique and historic estate.
You will discover a rewarding role, where you will help to protect some of London's best loved spaces whilst expanding your portfolio of experience as you work alongside a wide range of invested parties including some high-profile stakeholders.
As the Senior Estates Manager, you will be responsible for property-related matters across our estate.
Specifically, assisting with the delivery of an effective estate management function, you will lead in negotiating high-profile agreements, supported by the Head of Estates and our Legal team.
You will also negotiate utility, including telecommunications agreements and be responsible for the procurement of a new property management database, ensuring we achieve best value and great results.
Additionally, you will line manage up to three Estates Managers and will be required to visit each park to fully understand the entire estate.
