Overview

Our client is a growing UK technology company delivering a newly launched, browser-based ERP platform across the UK and Ireland. They partner with customers in sectors where finance, stock, and inventory management are central - including construction, building materials, and distribution. Having successfully rolled out their new ERP platform earlier this year, the team is now driving growth through both brand-new customer implementations and upgrades for long-standing clients moving from legacy systems.

They are known for their collaborative culture, agility, and commitment to helping customers transform their financial and operational processes.

The Opportunity

We\'re searching for an experienced ERP Finance Implementation Consultant to join the UK Professional Services team. You\'ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end ERP finance projects, working closely with finance professionals at all levels.

This is a role for someone who thrives on building relationships on-site, asking the right questions, and guiding customers through change with authority and credibility. You\'ll become a trusted partner to clients, ensuring smooth implementations that directly impact their success.

What You\'ll Do
  • Lead ERP finance implementations covering General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, reporting, and compliance.
  • Run workshops to gather requirements, define project blueprints, and map financial processes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert throughout scoping, configuration, testing, and go-live.
  • Provide guidance on accounting best practice, compliance, tax, and internal controls.
  • Support data migration (ETL) from legacy systems into the new platform.
  • Deliver training to finance teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and smooth adoption.
  • Partner with Project Managers to define tasks, estimates, risks, and documentation.
  • Remain engaged post-go-live to provide continuity and resolve issues.
  • Travel regularly to client sites to build trust and influence successful outcomes.
What You\'ll Bring
  • 5+ years\' experience in ERP finance implementations or similar consulting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of finance/accounting processes (GL, AR, AP, reporting, compliance).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior finance stakeholders.
  • A hands-on approach with confidence leading workshops and delivering projects end-to-end.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.

Nice to Have:

  • A professional finance qualification is highly desirable (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Background in ERP systems such as Dynamics, Sage, Nav, Epicor, or similar.
  • Experience in the building materials or supply chain industries.
Why Apply?
  • Join a fast-growing business at the forefront of a new ERP product launch in the UK.
  • Work on a variety of projects with both new and long-standing customers.
  • High-impact, visible role where you\'ll directly influence customer success.
  • Collaborative, non-corporate culture with room to grow your career.
