Job Summary

The Senior Employee Relations Specialist in the UK supports the delivery of ER strategy and services as part of the European ER Centre of Expertise team. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing comprehensive, commercial ER advice to UK Stores, ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies, and business objectives. The role involves coaching managers, supporting HR Business Partners, and working primarily from the Home Office in Watford, with travel across London as needed. This is a fixed-term contract for 8 months.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advisory: Provide ER advice, manage case activity, support strategic projects, and maintain knowledge of employment legislation.
2. Tribunal Cases / Litigation: Manage tribunal claims and ER cases, coordinate with legal teams, and maintain records.
3. Projects: Lead ER-related projects, collaborate across teams, and support change management activities.
4. Policy Support: Monitor policy compliance, assist in policy review and communication, and ensure effective implementation.
5. Development of Others: Identify training needs, share employment law updates, and support ER capability development.
6. Other: Maintain ER case records, build stakeholder relationships, manage external providers, and support ER initiatives.
7. Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Experience in ER, strong advisory skills, excellent communication, relationship-building, data analysis, and ideally CIPD qualification.
