University of Oxford is seeking a Senior Epidemiologist to lead the Science Team within the UK Biobank Epidemiology Group. The postholder will oversee review activities and contribute epidemiological expertise to the continued development and effective use of the UK Biobank resource.

Protected time will be available to develop and lead epidemiological research using UK Biobank's data. The role is based at the Big Data Institute within the Nuffield Department of Population Health and reports to

Qualifications

• PhD in epidemiology, statistics or related field.
• Extensive experience in design, analysis and interpretation of large-scale cohort studies.
• Experience with governance and review processes.
• Proven ability to streamline processes and optimise services.
