The Requirement:
Dar is seeking to recruit an experienced and talented Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) consultant with specialist ecological impact skills to work in its London design office. Dar is dedicated to planning, designing, engineering, and managing infrastructure projects, and Dar Group further contributes to the sustainable development of communities worldwide. The right candidate will join an established team of environmental specialists based in London.
The individual will be expected to lead tasks and support project managers across the Company in the management of environmental and social issues across a wide range of very large infrastructure projects, in particular within the planning and urban design, and transport sectors, internationally and within the UK.
The individual must be able to demonstrate technical expertise, and will be required to deliver project requirements within budget and on time. International experience is especially desirable, particularly in developing countries (e.g. on the African continent).
Any experience of working within the environmental and social safeguard requirements of international finance (WB/IFC, EIB, AfDB, etc) will be valued.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with proven oral and written communication and management skills.
