Your new company
Our client is an Environmental Consultancy established in 2007 who offer a range of specialist environmental services to public and private sector organisations across the UK.
They are looking for someone to help them with their mission to improve sustainability in the UK. Supporting various clients to develop their sustainability credentials and to minimise their impact on the environment.
Your new role
The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Monitor, support and coordinate the work and development of more junior members of staff
  • Offer the wider Environmental and Planning team assistance on other projects and actively support the team and wider business development.
  • Reporting directly to the client, taking ownership of own/team performance in meeting deadlines and objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal and external project stakeholders



What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working on waste management-based projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Have a relevant degree and have achieved or are on the way to chartered membership of a relevant institute.
  • Proven track record of experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to build relationships with a range of people, such as project managers and contractors
  • The ability to manage client expectations around sustainability issues
  • Knowledge of environmental issues, but also technological solutions, and relevant environmental legislation, policy and guidance
  • Project management skills to manage scope, budget and timescales
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in the environmental sector
