A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant based in Manchester to join their global team. This role involves contributing to significant corporate M&A deals while leveraging extensive EHS compliance expertise. You will work both in-office and client-facing, ensuring thorough environmental assessments and ESG strategies across projects worldwide.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of EHS compliance and regulation experience in the industrial sector.
  • Experience in ESG and ideally corporate M&A.
  • Qualified at degree level, preferably MSc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver environmental due diligence and ESG on strategic projects.
  • Review data room documents and conduct confirmatory site visits.
  • Attend client/deal team calls while identifying environmental risks.

Job Description:

I am looking to speak with a Manchester-based Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant with extensive EHS compliance and regulation experience who is now looking to join a global team to help broker major corporate M&A deals within the industrial sector.

As a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work out of Bristol but work on a global scale within a global team. If you have industrial EHS compliance/regulating experience and are looking to learn how to format this within a due diligence report, this will also be considered.

You will be engaged as a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant, involved in the development and delivery of environmental due diligence and ESG on strategic advisory projects worldwide, working within an award-winning transactional team.

Responsibilities include both office-based and client-facing tasks such as data room document reviews, confirmatory site visits and reporting, identifying and assessing environmental risks, ESG strategy development, environmental due diligence reports, and attending client/deal team calls.

Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant requirements:
  • Qualified at degree and ideally MSc level in a relevant field
  • 5-10 years of EHS compliance and regulation experience within the industrial sector
  • Experience in ESG
  • Ideally corporate M&A experience, although EHS compliance/regulation experience is also valuable
  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • CMIOSH
