LOCATION: Any UK location near a Worley office

TERMS: Permanent, full-time, hybrid with travel (1-2 weeks per year)

Worley Environment and Society, part of the Worley Consulting division, provides environmental and social services across the mining, energy transition, clean energy (solar, wind, hydrogen), financial, and infrastructure sectors. We work on some of the most innovative and large-scale projects globally, covering the project lifecycle including value engineering and optioneering, across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, involving subsea marine and terrestrial environmental and social services.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify project opportunities, pursue and win environmental services contracts, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage large environmental management projects across EMEA within the Worley Environment and Society Practice.
  • Lead environmental and social due diligence on projects throughout the EMEA region.
  • Build relationships with environmental leaders and subject matter experts within client organizations to grow business.
  • Collaborate with Worley teams in other regions to deliver environmental services.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
  • Manage planning and permitting activities, including EPR applications and EIAs.
  • Coordinate interface management between Worley engineering teams and third-party permitting contractors.
  • Conduct environmental and social due diligence following international standards (GIIP, IFC PS, WB EHS Guidelines, EBRD PR, etc.).

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s) in Environmental Management or Environmental Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience with marine clients, managing international environmental and social impact assessments.
  • Experience with international finance institutions and lenders.
  • Comprehensive experience across project lifecycle stages, including due diligence, site selection, closure, and rehabilitation plans.
  • Proven report writing skills for EIAs, ESIA reports, ERP, RFI, etc.
  • Track record of successful technical and project delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and networking skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
