Overview

My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Cardiff.

Qualifications
  • Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management.
  • Experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing or co-coordinating ES Statements and/or Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Candidates are required to have a keen interest in hydrology, flood risk and environmental permitting.
Responsibilities
  • Complete and co-ordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and ES Chapters for varied projects spanning Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers.
  • Work on hydrological, energy and infrastructure projects for mixed use developments.
  • Complete Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Statements.
  • Hydrology chapters for EIAs.
  • EIA project management including managing and tracking project development with assistance from Senior team members.
  • Water Resources and Hydrology Assessments.
  • Client meetings to discuss the development of the project.
  • Frequent meetings with Clients to discuss project development.
