Job summary

Kier Group in Oxford is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join our Rail team. You will implement strategy, drive innovation and provide environmental assurance across Rail projects.

The role offers permanent full-time hours (42 per week) with a salary of £30,000 - £45,000 per year plus £5,000 annual car allowance and benefits. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to candidates in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Management or related discipline.
• Professional membership of a recognised environmental/sustainability body such as IEMA.
• Significant experience in environmental management with practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Implement the business environmental sustainability strategy and support project teams in its development.
• Ensure all environmental permits, licences, consents and third party conditions are identified, in place and complied with.
• Work with delivery teams to identify, communicate and manage environmental risks and opportunities.
• Monitor and measure environmental performance to set standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Undertake inspections and audits, investigate environmental incidents and share lessons learnt.
