Senior Environmental Advisor

Location: Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Senior Environmental Advisor will play a key role in implementing the Telent Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste, carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing specialist advice to EHS teams and project leads on environment and sustainability to meet requirements
• Supporting risk management through environmental assurance and audit programs
• Preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids
• Developing performance data and carbon management reports
• Reviewing environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks
• Embedding sustainable and carbon reduction practices across project lifecycle stages

Candidate profile:

Experience in a similar role within relevant industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
• Technical sustainability and environmental advice experience
• Experience reducing environmental impacts through product lifecycle management
• Managing complex technical and change projects
• Full driving license and flexibility for UK-wide travel
