Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across our Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

• Provide specialist direction and advice to EHS teams and Project leads on environment and sustainability to meet requirements
• Support risk management by defining an environmental assurance regime, including audits
• Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids
• Develop and maintain performance data and carbon management reports
• Review environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks
• Support project teams to embed sustainable practices throughout the Project Life Cycle

Who you are:

Experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification - PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
• Experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice
• Proven track record of reducing environmental impacts of equipment and infrastructure
• Experience managing complex projects and change initiatives
• Full driving license and flexibility for UK travel
