Job summary

A leading UK infrastructure business is seeking an Environmental Advisor to drive excellence across major projects from planning through completion. You will work with experienced teams, promoting sustainable infrastructure and delivering real environmental impact.

Ideal candidates bring NEBOSH qualifications (or working towards) and strong knowledge of environmental legislation, management systems and risk management, with a UK driving licence. IEMA membership is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification or working towards is required.
• Experience with environmental legislation, management systems and risk management.
• IEMA membership is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Drive Environmental Excellence across multiple projects and support sustainability objectives.
• Provide expert guidance to site teams ensuring compliance with legislation, client requirements and standards.
• Lead environmental audits and site reviews to identify risks and promote best practice.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators and supply chain partners to influence project decisions.
• Monitor performance, analyze data and recommend improvements to enhance environmental outcomes.
