Qualifications

• UK regulatory framework knowledge
• ISO 14001 audit experience preferred
• Sustainable development principles and practices
• Management of Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
• 3+ years practical environmental management in construction
• Diploma in Environmental Management (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Support construction teams to ensure compliance with environmental obligations on the project
• Identify, assess and control environmental risks
• Support EMS implementation and updates
• Conduct audits and inspections per EMS and ISO 14001:2015
• Carry out Environmental Risk Assessments (ERA) for scope of works
• Report environmental incidents and investigate root causes
• Deliver environmental training and raise awareness
• Communicate risks and actions to senior teams
• Engage with Client and BYLOR environment teams for learning sharing
• Mentor other Environmental Team members
