Job description

Senior Environmental/Sustainability Advisor - North London/Northern Home counties (multi-site, construction projects across the Thames Water framework) - £50-£60k+car allowance and excellent benefits


Responsibilities:
  1. Provide environmental compliance advice to various teams, including design construction, procurement and subcontractors
  2. Undertake environmental audits and inspections, both internal and external, including suppliers and waste contractors
  3. Deliver suitable environmental and sustainability training for all project staff
  4. Drive awareness for and delivery against contract targets, particularly reducing Carbon, materials efficiency and striving to achieve no-net loss in biodiversity

Qualifications/Experience:
  1. Degree level in appropriate Environmental or relevant discipline (ideal)
  2. At least 3 years' construction industry experience or relevant environmental experience in a similar sector
  3. Minimum Practitioner Membership with IEMA or similar professional membership, or working towards
  4. Full driving licence
