Job summary

Skipton is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Specialist to strengthen the Group's Risk Management Framework and provide insightful reporting to senior leadership and Board level. You will embed risk practices across the three lines of defence and drive governance improvements.

You will develop high quality risk reporting, work with stakeholders, and use data to identify emerging risks, enhancing efficiency and decision making across the organisation. This is a permanent, full-time role in England.

Qualifications

• Experience within Risk, Compliance, Audit or a similar function in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, governance, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to produce high quality risk reporting and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to provide effective challenge across all levels.
• Experience supporting the development, embedding and continuous improvement of risk frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in using risk data, reporting tools and technology to enhance insight, efficiency and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver insightful risk reporting, analysis and management information to support informed decision making at senior leadership, Executive and Board level.
• Support and enhance the Group Risk Management Framework, ensuring effective and consistent risk management practices across the business.
• Produce high quality risk reporting, management information and insights to support decision making and risk governance.
• Act as a trusted risk partner, building strong stakeholder relationships and providing expert guidance, challenge and support.
• Identify and assess emerging and thematic risks, using data and analysis to inform recommendations and drive positive outcomes.
• Leverage risk systems, data and technology to improve reporting, automation, efficiency and overall risk management capability.
