Job summary

Funding Circle in London is seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager to oversee governance and drive the strategic execution of the ERM framework. You will have significant autonomy, broad exposure across the business, and influence to shape our risk capability as we scale.

The role demands senior-level risk expertise, collaboration with key functions, and leadership to guide risk initiatives, KRIs, and reporting to executive committees. A strong track record and proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Enterprise or Operational Risk Management experience.
• Experience in financial services, risk consultancies, or Big 4 environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Hands-on with risk governance tools and reporting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead expert advice on enterprise and operational risk matters across the business.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify, evaluate and manage key risks and controls.
• Build relationships to drive strategic risk initiatives and risk culture.
• Own core elements of the ERM framework: KRIs, RCSAs, event management, committees.
• Improve and scale Risk Governance tools and processes.
• Prepare and present risk reporting for Executive committees and Board.
• Coach and mentor Risk Analysts to support team outcomes.
