Halfords is on a journey - building the future of motoring and cycling and looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. We’re a place for cocreators: people who want to make a real impact, take ownership and be part of something that’s still evolving.
Technology at Halfords is at a turning point. We’re modernising our foundations, sharpening our delivery, and ensuring every technology decision is connected to real commercial and customer outcomes.
We're looking for people who act as trusted advisors to the business, take end-to-end accountability for outcomes, and can balance pace with long-term architectural integrity. Innovation here means practical, scalable solutions, not ideas that stay on whiteboards.
At Halfords, we’re on a journey to make data a truly trusted, valuable asset across the business-and we’re looking for a Senior Enterprise Data Management Lead to help lead that transformation. In this role, you’ll shape and embed practical governance frameworks that improve how data is managed, ensuring it is consistent, reliable and safe to use. You’ll work closely with data owners and stakeholders across the organisation to reduce risk, strengthen accountability, and build the foundations for better, more confident decision‑making powered by high‑quality data.
This is a high‑impact role in a growing data function, offering broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence meaningful change. You’ll lead initiatives such as Master Data Management, maturity improvement and governance adoption, while championing data literacy, ethical practices and responsible data use. Combining strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, you’ll translate complex governance challenges into clear, actionable plans‑embedding the right controls, behaviours and capabilities to ensure data works effectively for our customers, colleagues and operations.
At Halfords, we operate a hybrid working policy with 3 days on site at our Support Centre in Redditch.
