Job summary

MHRA in Leeds seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to join the Strategy and Architecture Function within the Digital and Technology Group. This is a full-time, permanent position based at 7/8 Wellington Place, Leeds, LS1 4AP.

The role shapes enterprise architecture across the organisation, translating business strategy into architectural designs, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with standards, policies and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple architecture domains including infrastructure, application and data.
• Knowledge of UK public sector regulations and frameworks (GDS, TCoP).
• Familiarity with TOGAF and architecture methodologies.
• Experience in architectural assessments, roadmaps and target states.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps and transition states.
• Provide architectural input and assurance across programmes to ensure standard compliance.
• Engage with stakeholders across business and technology functions to integrate architecture.
• Drive innovation, guardrails and best practices in architectural design.
