Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to drive architecture across major digital transformation programs within our CIB IT landscape. You will translate business needs into scalable, future‑proof components, working with solution architects and technical leads to align delivery roadmaps with strategic goals.

The role requires strong stakeholder communication, cloud design expertise, and experience with both modern and legacy technology stacks.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise/solution architecture experience.
• Ability to produce fit-for-purpose solution designs.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience applying agile methods in complex environments.
• Experience designing scalable cloud services (GCP/Azure).
• Breadth across modern and legacyTech stacks including microservices, APIs, data/messaging.

Responsibilities

• Understand existing and target business capabilities and map to components.
• Define delivery roadmaps that maintain service continuity and realise benefits.
• Collaborate with business and solution architects to shape architecture and roadmaps.
• Lead the technical realisation of components with engineers and vendors where needed.
• Demonstrate regulatory and compliance leadership and risk awareness.
• Sponsor transformation activities across platforms and cloud-native initiatives.
