Job summary

Vallum Associates in the United Kingdom seeks a senior enterprise architect to produce high-level architecture views and north-star roadmaps, with a view to starting Architecture as Code Tate.

You will guide strategy, standards and guardrails, embed within programmes, and drive design roadmaps across workstreams while engaging internal and external stakeholders to deliver scalable data delivery patterns and tooling strategies.

• Must be strong across architecture disciplines and able to adopt 'Architecture as Code' concepts.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• Produce highlevel architecture, future/north star and emerging technology views and roadmaps - with a view to start implementing 'ARchitecture as Code'


• Provide architectural guidance, including external expertise on trends and best practice for strategy, principles, standards and guardrails.


• Help with transition states, designs and architecture delivery


• Embedded within the programme and work with workstreams leads to help drive scope, requirements, archiecture and design roadmaps


• Stakeholder engagment both Internal and External involved in the programme


• Responsible for delivering designs, tooling strategy and data delivery patterns

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Must be strong across architecture disciplines but also have a understanding and ability to take on 'Architecture as Code', concept of composiblty, ability to work across business domains and the capability to build architecture components themselves

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Business & Commercial Banking experience.


• Digital & Cloud-Native Architecture expertise.


• Microservices, APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture knowledge.


• Public Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
