Job description

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification. If electrically qualified, current Electro-technical Certification Scheme (ECS) Card required.
• City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Understanding of Quality Management, customer satisfaction, and the continuous improvement process (desirable).
• Dual or multi-skilled with core skills preferably Electrical.

Duties of this role include:

• Providing engineering maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital cluster.
• Offering technical, health, safety, and environmental support to EDs, hospital managers, project managers, and minor works managers.
• Assisting engineering technicians and assistants at all sites within the cluster.
• Liaising with hospital operations managers to support engineering cover to meet SLA and on-call requirements.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and contractors to ensure safe, effective, and efficient work completion with proper records.
