Skanska has teamed up with National Highways to deliver the A47 road improvement scheme to reduce congestion and improve safety on the A47. We are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join our infrastructure team. The role will primarily be based on-site, initially at our A428 office in St Neots, followed by a transfer to our A47 office in Thurrock.

What you'll do:

  1. Support the Chief Engineering Surveyor and/or the Engineering Survey Manager in coordinating all technical work streams.
  2. Develop the engineering survey teams to meet project needs.
  3. Ensure the project has the appropriate survey control network to fulfill construction requirements.
  4. Set out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work commences.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • A degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying, or ONC/B Tech in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying, along with previous experience as a Senior Engineering Surveyor.
  • Extensive knowledge of survey instruments, software, and working methods.
  • Full professional membership of CICES or an equivalent body.
